About the Photographer

Saad Manasterli was born in Beirut, Lebanon and spent his formative years in both Lebanon and the United States. He joined the U.S. Army after high school and served in Saudi Arabia. After an honorable discharge, he settled down in Northern Virginia.

His experiences in war-torn Lebanon and during his time in the Army fostered a distinct appreciation for living in the moment. His photography is an extension of that philosophy and he looks for the beauty and the oddity of daily life, striving to capture images that catch the eye and inspire thought. Black and white is a favorite, although some images call for true colors.
