In Baalbek, Lebanon there is a plethora of Roman ruins from sky high columns do to rundown Roman bath houses and burial sites. This column was part of a structure known to have been part of a house of education, at least that is what the tour guide had mentioned.

It was a very humbling experience to walk among the structures created by giants. The mere ability to have such construction still standing to this is a feat of its own.
