I was visiting Beirut, Lebanon and wanted some coffee. I hopped into a local Starbucks and sat outside to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Hamra street. Hamra street is know for its shops, bars, lounges and eateries.

As I sat there drinking my coffee I noticed coexistence off the old timey shops, cars, building and the new more modern construction. I thought, if there is anywhere in the world that both can co-exist it would be in Beirut. My home away from home.
